COMMUNITY / PROJECT WORK
Caroline Creates is a place-based writing project tied to my visual art practice. It includes The Winze Files, a multi-volume series set in a fictional town dealing with the impact of an expanding mine. Through characters, local systems, and unfolding events, the work examines how industry reshapes land, the economy, and daily life. The writing and painting inform each other, building a shared world grounded in real experience.
Caroline Creates is my writing platform and story archive. It includes The Winze Files, a fiction series centred on a small town under pressure from mining expansion. The work focuses on community response, shifting landscapes, and the tension between local life and outside control. It runs in parallel with my painting, extending the same ideas through narrative.
